Meet the Team

Go For was established in 2013 by Mike Johnson. The company name originates from his well‑known radio call sign, “Go For Mike”. Over the last 13 years Mike has built a team of skilled and like‑minded event professionals who share a commitment to delivering site, operations and production management with skill, discipline and creativity.

  • Our team excels at translating client objectives into operational reality, supported by robust planning processes and resilient working methodologies. We manage multiple projects throughout the year, ensuring clear coordination across all moving parts and maintaining a consistent standard of operational excellence. We work across music festivals, large scale concerts and sporting events in greenfield and urban sites, stadiums and venues. We are experienced across both commercial, private and corporate settings.

    On site, we promote a culture that prioritises safety, precision and accountability. We recognise the physical and logistical demands of live event environments and provide strong, inclusive leadership that supports a diverse and inclusive workforce and respects the wider event ecosystem.

    Our full‑time team is located across the UK, supplemented by trusted freelancers and specialist partners according to project requirements.
