  • Radio 1 Big Weekend & Radio 2 in the Park

    The world’s largest touring festival visits a new location each year, previously hosting events at Sefton Park (Liverpool), Camperdown Park (Dundee), and Stockwood Park (Luton). In partnership with Far & Beyond, we deliver site management for each 30,000–40,000 capacity, multi-day, multi‑stage event, including live broadcasts across BBC networks.

  • Wilderness Festival

    Set within Oxfordshire’s idyllic Cornbury Park Estate, this one‑of‑a‑kind weekend camping festival welcomes 30,000 guests to premium food and drink, wild swimming, luxury wellness experiences and standout contemporary culture. Go For leads overall site management and oversees technical production, creative, and feasting/restaurant teams.

  • The Pop Up Hotel Silverstone

    Go For co-design, build and manage logistics for the premium trackside accommodation complex for the ultimate fan experience at the British Grand Prix. We also lead the onsite production and operations teams.

  • Love Supreme

    Go For have led the site management team since this jazz and contemporary music festival began in 2013. In that time the event has grown from 5,000 to 30,000 guests, making it Europe's largest outdoor jazz festival.

  • The Long Road

    As part of the team that launched this Country & Americana music event in 2018 we identified the site and helped to create each evolution of the growing layout. Each year we continue to develop the bespoke venues and campsites to increase capacity and programming opportunities.

  • The Bridge (Junction 2)

    One of the UK’s most iconic urban dance music events that annually transforms London’s Boston Manor Park. Go For works closely with the local authority to manage the build and break amid complex a complex public landscape. Certified by AGF (A Greener Future), the event is a leader in environmental sustainability.

Meet the Team

Go For was established in 2013 by Mike Johnson. The company name originates from his well‑known radio call sign, “Go For Mike”. Over the last 13 years Mike has built a team of skilled and like‑minded event professionals who share a commitment to delivering site, operations and production management with skill, discipline and creativity.

  • Our team excels at translating client objectives into operational reality, supported by robust planning processes and resilient working methodologies. We manage multiple projects throughout the year, ensuring clear coordination across all moving parts and maintaining a consistent standard of operational excellence. We work across music festivals, large scale concerts and sporting events in greenfield and urban sites, stadiums and venues. We are experienced across both commercial, private and corporate settings.

    On site, we promote a culture that prioritises safety, precision and accountability. We recognise the physical and logistical demands of live event environments and provide strong, inclusive leadership that supports a diverse and inclusive workforce and respects the wider event ecosystem.

    Our full‑time team is located across the UK, supplemented by trusted freelancers and specialist partners according to project requirements.
